“A Paradigm Shift in Dental Implant Materials and Designs; Utilizing Zirconia Implants from Anterior Aesthetics to Full Mouth Reconstruction, The Future is Now! – 2023 EACim congress
Achieving natural soft tissue aesthetics around dental implants, especially in the maxillary anterior sextant, can be predictable and more simplified by using immediate restoration protocols. Expanding these protocols to more extensive sites across an arch, in partially edentulous to full arch, full mouth reconstruction, allows the implant team to provide streamlined treatment times and procedures. However, concerns utilizing titanium implants still are present and can cause premature complications and/or failures aesthetically, biologically and physiologically for the patient. Incorporating zirconia implants into these protocols can eliminate some, if not all of the complications observed with titanium implants. The presentation will focus on techniques and protocols to ensure clinical success utilizing zirconia implants to achieve superior aesthetics and long-term success from a single tooth anterior site to full mouth reconstruction.
