Overview

The plurality of clinical situations in oral implantology does not allow the zirconia implant in its monobloc form to compete with titanium implants for the various current surgical and prosthetic protocols. Zirconia implantology, after 20 years of existence, will be able to develop with the introduction of 2-part implants as are titanium implants. This is a challenge that the industry is gradually taking up in collaboration with clinicians.

Today, we can use zirconia implants to avoid the risks of immunological failures linked to allergy to metals. They are a reliable alternative to titanium implants and are part of our therapeutic arsenal.
