The EACim is very pleased and extends a warm welcome our two new EACim Ambassadors :
– Norbert Cionca, Ambassador for Switzerland. Head of Research and International Relations.
With the arrival of Dr. Cionca, university practitioner and lecturer in the Department of Periodontology and Oral Physiopathology at the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Geneva.
Mucogingival surgery, grafts and implantology are his main teaching and research topics.
With more than 11 years of clinical experience, Dr. Cionca has acquired a great expertise in implantology and in the management of complex periodontal cases.
Lately he has been particularly interested in the problems of peri-implantitis and implant surface conditions.
The EACim will be able to benefit from his experience in clinical research to conduct multicentre studies in the near future.
On October 15, 2022 Dr. Cionca will lead a full day workshop on mucogingival surgery in Brussels (Hotel Le Plaza).
